Man Utd Star Makes Transfer Decision On Future And Premier League Move

Alexis Sanchez signed for Manchester United from Arsenal in January 2018, with the Red Devils confident the Chilean would inspire them to glory at the time.

However, the 29-year-old has struggled for form ever since touching down at Old Trafford, scoring just six goals across all competitions.

Talk is rife that Manchester United will look to offload the forward this summer with Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan determined to secure his signature.

And, now, The Sun claim that Sanchez has decided to leave the club this summer after a nightmare 18 months at Old Trafford.

It is said he is ‘desperate’ to leave the club – but would rather play abroad than stay in the Premier League.

So eager is Sanchez to end his hellish tie with the Red Devils that he is set to return for pre-season early.

Most United players are due back on July 2.

But Sanchez, The Sun say, is set to return earlier to prove his fitness and put himself in the shop window.

An Old Trafford source is quoted as saying: “Alexis is planning to come back earlier than July 2 and 3 which is the official start date of pre-season training.

“We are also expecting Luke Shaw and Phil Jones towards the end of June, which is again purely off their own back.

“Alexis is off home to Chile and also planning a visit to Spain during his time off before he comes back and we will see what happens then.”

Sanchez recently vowed to do better next season, posting an apologetic message to United fans on social media.

“It was a very tough season…the fan are the ones who deserve an apology as they always support you no matter what happens,” he said.

“Personally, I didn’t perform as much as I was expecting because of unpredictable injuries.

“Press and people were speculating of things that were not even true. I was always a professional in all aspects.

“I apologise to the fans for not be able to achieve our goals, Nevertheless we are Manchester United!

“Players and Staff are questioning if we were doing the right thing and if we were giving our best for this football shirt … I’m certain that Manchester United one day will return to be the club, as it was in the old days with Mr. Alex Ferguson.”
