Etana pens down heartwarming message to Kenyans

The ‘Weakness in me’ hitmaker, Etana, has wowed Kenyans after jotting down a Thanksgiving message. She shared her joy following her last concert in Kenya and expressed how happy she was for the warm welcome.

Through her Instagram account, she wrote; “My return to Kenya felt like a homecoming! Thank you to the Ministry of Tourism for setting up an amazing Safari tour of Nairobi National Park.”

After her concert at Uhuru Gardens on May 11th, she shared her gratitude for the great turn out. She said; “Thank you Kenya, Etana Strong One. Reggae Forever World Tour! Kenya you showed up… Etana Returns at Uhuru Gardens Asante Sana!!!.The Love was overwhelming Kenya. Thank you for making my return a memorable experience!”

This marked her third visit to Kenya. The concert, called ‘Etana Returns’, attracted droves of Kenyan reggae music fans, who braved the night’s chilly weather to enjoy music from the adored songstress.

Etana, who performed in Kenya for the third time, is well known for her silky smooth vocals and love ballads and worldwide hits, such as ‘Happy heart’, ‘Weakness in me’ and ‘Love song’.

The concert was curtain raised by Ghanaian dancehall artiste Epixode, Wyre the Lovechild and Gravitti Band. The multi-award winner and newly independent artist was previously slated to perform at “Dobba Fest” on March 18th, 2017 alongside reggae stars Luciano and Richie Spice.

A humble and excited Etana stated,” My fans in Kenya have steadily been asking for me, so I’m looking forward to hearing my Kenyan people singing to me in perfect harmony.”
