The vicious battle between Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha and Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) secretary general Wilson Sossion seem not to be ending any time soon.
KNUT has asked teachers to boycott the new curriculum and revert to the 8-4-4 curriculum. Sossion has further termed CS Magoha arrogant and intolerant.
Sossion says the attitude displayed by the education cabinet secretary George Magoha and the teacher service commission is derailing the progress of Competence Based Curriculum.

On Tuesday, Prof Magoha was talking tough on the new curriculum. He maintained that there is no turning back as the new 2-3-3-6 system of Education was already taking effect.
KNUT however skipped the curriculum policy launch. Prof Magoha wants KNUT to focus on solutions.
