Former Deputy Chief Justice Nancy Baraza, who was in 2012 forced out of her position on grounds of misconduct has blamed the Judiciary for lowering its standards.
Speaking on KTN, Ms Baraza posed that she was promptly kicked out of her position for a less serious case, while the same court and citizens have turned a blind eye on more serious cases that are currently ongoing.
“After I left, people have done worse things, and nobody has ever harassed them the way they harrased me,” she said.
“If we employed the same anger as Kenyans, then we would be driving out all the thieves from offices,” she added.

The Lady Justice, who also doubled up as the Supreme Court Vice Chair has over time blamed her colleagues at the Judiciary for orchestrating her exit.
She was in 2012 in hot soup after allegations that she assaulted a security guard using a gun and recommended her sacking.
An enraged nation, including the media and Kenyans on Twitter came baying for her blood, leaving her no choice but to submit her resignation.
This, according to Baraza would not have been the case if it had been a man.
