Self Proclaimed leader of National Resistance Movement (NRM) Miguna Miguna has taken out on President Uhuru for appointing former Government Spokesperson Eric Kiraithe as the new ICT Principal Administrative Secretary.
According to Miguna Miguna, the appointment of Kiraithe is a promotion while Government spokesperson Cyrus Oguna is a demotion.
While taking to Twitter Miguna said, “Erick Kiraithe is NOT fluent in English or Swahili. He has no discernible competence other than sharing Uhuru Kenyatta’s ethnicity. Yet he was the Government Spokesman for 3 years and has now been PROMOTED while a more qualified Cyrus Oguna’s appointment was a DEMOTION.”

The controversial lawyer’s statement comes as Kiraithe took over the new office two weeks after Cyrus Oguna was appointed.
Cyrus Oguna who was appointed to his new position two weeks ago replacing Mr Kiraithe who had served in the capacity since 2015.
The announcement was made by CS ICT Joe Mucheru who noted that the appointment will take place immediately.
Mucheru also divulged that the President gave a directive to move the office of the spokesperson to the ICT ministry headed by Mucheru.
