Mass registration of huduma namba is finally coming to an end in the next one day, and its chronicles seem to be worsening. A couple in Kiambu has allegedly divorced because the man registered for huduma namba which the woman had opposed.

The mass registration kicked off without Kenyans being exposed to civic education about the whole process. As a result, many Kenyans have remained opposed to it.
The registration that will end on Saturday May 18, 2019 will not be extended. This is according to interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i who has hence reiterated that the process will not be extended for even a single day.
Dr. @FredMatiangi: So far, we have registered over 31 million people (65 percent of the total population). The May 18 deadline for the mass registration phase won’t be extended. The exercise is also going on across our 54 missions around the world, and it will close on June 20. pic.twitter.com/belRIEGEMG

It is this threat that has seen last minute Kenyans rush to get registered. Long queues have been witnessed today (Thursday) with the process going on slowly due to insufficient clerks and registration kits.
Probably it is government’s threat that made the man rush for the last minute registration which saw him get divorced. Whom do you think should be blamed for the divorce?
