Ed-Woodward pledges full support to Ole Gunnar in his Man Utd Overhaul plan

Manchester United executive. vice Chairman, EdWoodward has vowed to give Ole Gunnar Solksjaer his full support as the manager works on giving the club that has continued to record dismal performances an overhaul with a good number of players expected to leave the club especially the flops which he has already made known to them.

The 20-time English Premier League, Red Devils finished sixth this season a massive 32 points behind neighbours and Champions Manchester City unlike last season when they finished position two with 19points drift the league winners.

But the vice-executive, Woodward insists there is a huge commitment to reversing that and start aiming for the top again which is what the club and every staff is targetting.

“Everyone at the club the Board, the manager, the squad and all the staff is determined to get Manchester United back to the top of English football.”And we continually look to improve on and off the pitch to achieve this,” he added.

“The strength of our business means we have the financial resources to continue to provide a solid foundation for backing the manager and creating success on the pitch. “This is the No.1 goal for everyone at the club and our successful commercial/business operation is in service of that goal, not independent of it.”

While things go wrong on the pitch, off it they continue to make big money with their successful commercial operation but their failure to qualify for the Champions League spot is said to have caused them a big loss of money just as it is causing them to pay for flops whom the club is working on eliminating.

The Red Devil’s slip towards the end of the season saw them take just eight points from a possible 27with their worst matches being a loss to two relegated clubs, Cardiff and Huddersfield.

Fans have expressed their frustration with overpaid and underperforming ‘stars’ like Alexis Sanchez who is said to be on the verge of being hawked to InterMilan or Juventus with the two sides showing interest in the United flop.

The situation has been made worse by the success of Champions City and second-placed Liverpool who are now contesting the Champions League Final with Tottenham.
