Detectives from the DCI have arrested a man after he escaped a 20-year jail term following convictions of robbery with violence.
Acting on intelligence, sleuths nabbed the 24-year-old Kelson Lienga aka Kelvin Lienga after evading police dragnets for a long time.
The suspect who is awaiting arraignment in court was arrested inKawangware where he is reported to have masterminded a couple of robberies and defilements.
On 26th February and 10th April 2019, the suspect was connected in a series of violent robberies & organized crimes including one in which a 14-Year-old girl was defiled. The suspect is directly linked to all these crimes and has been at large ever since he failed to attend court

Lienga was in 2017 convicted for chopping off a woman’s leg after a violent robbery incident. He would later be tried and convicted in absentia after failing to attend the court proceedings.
In 2017, the suspect was involved in a series of robberies & serious assault including one in #Sabatia in which he chopped off the leg of one of his victims. He was arrested, taken to court, tried and convicted(in absentia)to 20yrs after failing to attend court on judgement day

On the 26th February and 10th April 2019, the man is said to have been behind a string of crimes in Nairobi where he once again got on the police radar.
