Celebrated Nigeria singer, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has announced his exit from all platforms of social media permanently.
Burna Boy who is not new in controversial shared the news on his Insta stories explaining that his page will only share information on music and upcoming shows henceforth.
“I am leaving all social media platforms permanently. They are now strictly for my show dates and new music. My social media will now be in the full control of my management. Love and positivity to all” He wrote.
Burna went ahead to send a touching message to his fans who will probably miss him.
“I love you all from the bottom of my Heart” Burna Boy’s message.
In recent past, Gbona hit maker used his social media platforms as a tool to speak out against oppression of the working class by the political elite which his fans attributed to the influence of Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti in his life.
It appears Burna Boy may have had enough of the craze that comes with being on social media and unlike many celebrities out there, has taken a bold step to get off social media totally.
