The decorated actress has been nominated for the prestigious MTV awards as best performance.
Lupita Nyong’o was the first Kenyan ever to win an Oscar for her supporting role in the movie 12 Years a Slave.
Her eloquent speech is always quoted in every motivational speech in many places in Kenya.

The award placed her on international limelight and has been winning so far.
