Many of the Kenyans were wondering how Kariobangi Sharks Brian Bwire made it to the Harambee Stars provisional Squad going to the African Cup Of Nations 2019.
Well 24 hours later after the announcement, the and the keeper did not waste any more time castings more doubts after he conceded two goals against Sony Sugar in a Kenya Premier League Match. It only took Sony Sugar just two minutes to score the opener against Kariobandi Sharks courtesy of Solomon Omollo, who did well to get past the napping defenders.
Neither of the two teams could get another goal in the first half.
With about five minutes remaining, the striker managed to capitalse on Brian Bwire’s mistake to double the advantage.
For Sharks, this is their eighth loss this season, yet two of their goalkeepers were included in the AFCON Squad.
Kariobangi Sharks have lost 2-0 to Nzoia Sugar. The goalkeeper of the day is one of the two goalies from the squad who are on the Harambee Stars provisional squad for #AFCON2019. You canโt make this stuff up. Even if you tried ๐

Hopefully, he will not have to play in Egypt so that the team can avoid more embarrassment.

Why include either of Brian Bwire/John Oyemba (Goalkeepers) from he same team, at the expense of Frederick Odhiambo (Gor Mahia) who has shown what he has at the continental football?
A good squad but goalkeeping hapana!#SemaNaCitizen— Allan Otieno (@oti_allan) May 14, 2019
