Kenyans were shocked as it emerged that Kianda school did not allow admission of students from single mothers or the single mothers union. The prestigious girl school located in Westland Nairobi area is said to be catholic based and runs on strong christian values.
For one to be admitted, the school first checks on the family background. According to sources, the school management believes, children raised by a single mother have different character traits from those who have grown with both parents. Kenyans went to social media to condemn the school against discrimination of students
I saw on Facebook that Kianda School doesn’t admit children of single parents! What mutherfuckery is that? Matope! My small sister interned at Strathmore University and the HR dept told her they can’t hire as she is a single mum. She was traumatized. IHATE Opus Dei.

My question is this, how badly do you want to take your kids to Kianda? It's almost like asking "why is it an all girl's school" and "why are they discriminating against having male students" it is not the only school around so y'all need to quit being prickly #MainaAndKingangi

@ItsMainaKageni it is unacalled for Kianda school to do that. They should know that everyone and I say everyone is a result of unprotected sex.

@KiandaSchool Children DONT choose how many parents they should have so denying single parents kids admission is UNGODLY coz you punish innocent Kids! I would not take the moral angle but I love and respect order. If Kianda school has such rules I just respect them and enroll my daughter in a school that accepts her. We should learn to repect values of others as much as we want ours reapected. I dont think its discrimination..
