VIDEO: Governor Nanok dumps Raila for Ruto in an embarrassing divorce

Former Council of Governors chairman and Turkana governor Josephat Nanok has declared his full support for deputy president William Ruto ahead of 2022 presidential polls.

He endorsed DP Ruto’s 2022 presidency in a Tanga Tanga mission in Kakuma town, Turkana County that ended Sunday.

Nanok during an interdenominational meeting presided over by Ruto said those plotting for constitutional changes should restrategise themselves well.

He says this is because he is not interested in continuing being a governor, neither does he want a governor in Turkana to be moved to a different area.

He further said that the 14 Rift Valley governors have agreed to walk one route in 2022, which is absolutely the tang tanga route. He says this is because the whole nation is eying for Rift Valley to lead the country.

Nanok has been ODM leader Raila Odinga’s supporter for a long period of time until DP Ruto toured Turkana for a two-day mission. His ditching of Raila for Ruto adds to the more woes the Orange party is currently facing.

The first ODM member to publicly declare her support to the DP was Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa who currently does not see an eye with any ODM leadership.

The party has also faced massive losses in the April by-elections in Ugenya and Embakasi South. What does this mean for one of the giant parties in the Country?
