Online Kenyans have strongly opposed the court of Appeal’s ruling after it dismissed the application to have Julius Wambua Musyoki’s daughter introduced in the appeal of his rape allegation case.
This was after Dorcas Wambua the daughter of Mr Wambua confessed that the rape case against her father was all but a fabricated lie which she was instructed by her mother to lie against her father.
Wambua, through his advocates, argued that the court convicted him despite the discrepancy on the doctor’s report.
He is currently serving a life sentence after he was found guilty of defiling his daughter in 2011.
The court will on make a ruling on whether or not to review Wambua’s sentence in September 2011.
However, Kenyans on Twitter have fiercely reacted to the story noting that it is not fair for Wambua.

Useless judges. Always hellbent on receiving bribes to alter their judgments. If the girl confessed to having framed the father, who are you to continue keeping this innocent parent behind bars? Release that man.

no wonder they were called Kangaroo courts…..someone take that judge to any nearby Barracks for corporal punishment. The daughter (in her right mind) says she wasn’t raped but a crooked judge thinks she was!!!!!!!!

I’d say the law courts are trying to showcase their credibility in the judgement that was made in the past years of the defendant deserving the charges. Regardless,the court dismissing the rebuttal evidence given in tears by the daughter makes it questionable to the public domain
