Nigerian Top Actor and film producer Freddie Leonard has shared words of wisdom with Kenyan Film Makers in regard to the success of film making.
Nollywood is currently among the recognized movie industries that is marking great achievements with some of their films featured by Netflix.
Freddie Leonard says that Kenyan film makers need to focus on telling the story and this will push them further.
He attributes the success of the Nigerian Film industry to the fact that they work on very relatable content saying that the government contribution is a smaller percentage.
The growth of the Nigerian Film Industry was not achieved in a day but the major ingredient according to them is support from the government as well as strict piracy regulations.
According to a feature done by Kenyan Journalist, WaihigaMwaura, Nollywood is the second highest employer in Nigeria with over 1 million youth working under that industry.
