The ‘Baraka’ hitmaker, Akothee, has been on the front line in helping the needy. She has met hospital bills for several patients and even offered free maternity services to pregnant women.

She has gone to a further step of coming up with a medical card which will cover all medical bills including pregnancy. Introducing the card, she said;

“The card is a saving plan for any medical services one may seek and not just for maternity. One tops up Baraka Card over a period, from as little as 100 bob. The funds remain there for any services at RFH Healthcare. At this point, you are probably wondering, why not get a medical insurance?

Well, most medical covers have several *exclusions*. For instance, some do not cater for maternity services at all. And those that do, do not cover fully – to include any complications post delivery such as nursery fees. That is why we encourage our clients (even those with insurance covers) to sign up.

For the case of maternity,  you get to plan for a whole 9 months. You can make little savings on the card for such eventualities as mentioned above. These are funds that remain in the card even post maternity should you need to access other services.

*Best part*: Baraka Card comes with *5%* discounts on *ALL HOSPITAL BILLS*; and select free offers on some services, like 1 free Obstetrics Ultrasound, and 1 free Consultation with our Obstetricians. You also get to reserve your appointments at RFH Specialist Hospital for whatever case as may arise.
