Welbeck available for Arsenal final clash of the season

Danny Welbeck has fully recovered from an injury that has kept him out for long and might be in line for selection in the club’s last English Premier League match away to Burnley.

The Englishman has been out since November 2018 after suffering a knee injury during a Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon.

He has, however, fully recovered after the lengthy recovery programme, and was seen training with the team at London Colney on Saturday.

The former Manchester United graduate moved to the Gunners in 2014 and will leave at the end of this season after Arsenal decided against renewing his contract.

The 28-year-old might also feature for the club in the Europa League final against Chelsea in Baku on May 29, in what could be his last match for the London side.

His arguably best moment for the club came during his first season at the north London club when he scored the winning goal against United in an FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford.
