Was KRA’s interdiction of its junior staff an ethnic cleansing?

This week on Friday, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) interdicted 75 of its staff suspected to be involved in tax evasion, bribery and corruption.

KRA officers raided their staff offices detaining members in their offices Friday morning. They carried the operation in their Times Towers and Sameer Business Park offices.

However, controversial blogger Robert Alai argues that the aim of the interdiction was to carry out an ethnic cleansing at KRA.

He says it was aimed at fighting tax avoidance, urging Kenyans to go through the list of the interdicted staff.

“This week’s arrest of junior KRA staff is not war on tax avoidance but basically ethnic cleansing at KRA. Go through that list and ask yourself what Mburu was after,” tweeted the blogger.

Here is the full list of the interdicted staff that blogger Robert Alai urges Kenyans to go through and note what KRA was after.
