VIDEO: How Khalwale is dancing his way out of Ford Kenya

The second oldest political party in Kenya, Ford Kenya Party last year had threatened to kick out its deputy party leader Boni Khalwale over his dalliance with deputy president Dr William Ruto.

However, the former Kakamega senator survived. But will he be spared this time round?

Ford Kenya has hence declared its party leader the Bungoma County Senator Moses Wetang’ula as its presidential candidate come 2022, but Khalwale has not ceased from dancing to DP Ruto’s tanga tanga tunes.

He has hence declared that his support for Ruto is unstoppable. However, the Wetang’ula-led party is now warning of a serious action against any member who goes against party’s regulations as far as discipline is concerned.

Recently, we saw Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa being ousted from Raila Odinga-led ODM party over her dalliance with the same Ruto, and this might be whre Khalwale is also heading.

As a way of strategising themselves for 2022, Ford Kenya will not relent on kicking out Khalwale.

On Sunday morning, Khalwale shared a red T-Shirt bearing a portrait of DP Ruto, with a tagline hustler nation. This could be just a signal that he was not by any chance alighting from the tanga tanga vehicle.

Khalwale has hence insisted that his relationship with Ruto is for the well being of Luhyia nation at large and not self interest as most people claim. Do you think the former Kakamega Senator is right by supporting DP Ruto when his own party leader is a presidential candidate?
