Mesut Ozil has become an enigma at Arsenal ever since he joined the Gunners more than 5 years ago.

Nevertheless, the prolific midfielder has made it clear that his long term interests are at the North London club.

In fact, the agent of midfielder Mesut Ozil insists the German attacker ‘bleeds Arsenal’ wants to stay at the Emirates.

Ozil has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few months as there is constant speculation in the media suggesting that Ozil will be heading towards the exit signs.

Unai Emery has a style of play that just does not suit the German midfielder, and Ozil has been dropped more often than not this season when it comes to the big games.

The likes of Bayern Munich, PSG and a move to the MLS have been all talked about as possible destinations for the German, as Emery would be willing to get him off the wage bill.

However, Ozil’s agent has opened up and admitted that he does not want to leave the Emirates at the end of the season and wants to stay at Arsenal.

Dr Erkut Sogut told Turkish-Football: “Mesut bleeds Arsenal red, and respecting his contract is a certainty.

“He’ll be staying at Arsenal until at least 2021, and the fans need not to worry about the gossip that may come this summer. He has found a place he feels welcome and believes he has a lot more to give.”

Ozil has not had the best of seasons at the Emirates under the guidance of Emery, but he is still the biggest name at the club and losing him will actually be a bigger blow than allowing him to leave the club.

But if he does not suit the style of play at Emery, then the right offer could well tempt the Gunners into doing a possible deal, despite his agent claiming that he will stay at the club during the summer window.

However, they may as well get as much money they can for Ozil, as his valuation will start to go down the less he plays under Emery in the coming seasons.Image result for mesut ozil duels

And the fact that he is paid over £350,000-a-week means Emery could get the German off the wage bill and offer two superstars big wages to join up.
