Gor Mahia striker Jacques Tuyisenge will only leave the Kenyan giants for Yanga if the interested club can triple his current salary.

According to the player’s agent Patrick Gakumba, as quoted by Rwandese portal The Times, Yanga has been in contact with him about a potential move and they are open for talks as long as they can agree on their demands.

“We are open to talks. Tuyisenge is a good striker with proven quality and high work ethic. His experience and performance over the years speak for themselves. If he is to switch, it has to be a worthwhile deal. They must be willing to at least triple what he earns at Gor Mahia,” Gakumba said.

Tuyisenge joined Gor Mahia from Police FC in January 2016 on a reported fee of $40,000 (Aprx Ksh 4M) and has been the subject of transfer saga in recent week.

Apart from Yanga, who are believed to be the current front runners in getting the players signature, the player has previously been linked with Yanga arch rivals Simba SC and DR Congo’s AS Vita.

The 27-year-old striker, who inspired Police to the 2015 Peace Cup title, has made no public comments about the move speculations yet despite his contract coming to an end at the end of the year.
