DCI Rescues Stolen Child, Arrests Abductor

Detectives drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have successfully rescued a boy from his suspected kidnappers.

The boy who was abducted from their home in Madaraka on May 3, 2019 was rescued by officers from the Serious Crime unit Friday.

Distraught parents of the boy have been making frantic calls to police to help them get their son in whatever state.

Friday afternoon however, the officers from the DCI posted on their Social Media that the boy had been rescued and is in “safe hands.”

Police say they found the boy on a suspected kidnapper Mr Hezron Agong’ Amayo, who was arrested on the spot.

The suspect awaits to be charged on Monday after police finalize on their investigations over the weekend.
