Sony Sugar out to break into KCB shelves as they host them at Awendo

The sugar makes of Sony will be out to battle it out against the bankers, KCB, in an early KenyaPremier League match kick off to be staged at Awendo Stadium that hosts up to five thousand people.

Having only won two of their last five matches, the 12th positioned Sony will be seeking to equal points with 5th positioned Kakamega Homeboyz who have 45 points three ahead of beer makers, Tusker FC who are hosting Mt, Kenya United in Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

The recent wins for Sony Sugar were against Vihiga United, Western Stima and Mathare while loosing to Sofapaka and AFC Leopards and recording draws against TuskerFcand Zoo Kericho.


KCB who is currently on the 11 place in the KPL table won their last game against Nakumatt, which ended with ended 2:0 but stunned League leaders Gor Mahia after forcing a draw to end the match at 3-3 in another match.

The Bankers have recorded inconsistency this season but eyes will be all on them to see whether they can come back to record a win away. A win for KCB will not change their position in the League but they’ll have closed the gap between them and Leopards.
