A lightning strike in Kisii has killed one student at Nduru Boys High School.
The deceased together with others were playing at the school playing ground on Wednesday evening.
The body of the deceased has since been taken to Tabaka mission hospital in South Mugirango. The 16 year old and form two student is said to have been playing football together with other students at the school playing ground, when he was struck by a lightning and dying on the spot.
“We call for calmness among parents. We all mourn the sudden death of the student, “said Kisii County Police Commander Martin Kibet.
