KOT disappointed with Amb Macharia’s remarks on Chinese interview

Ambassador Macharia Kamau is on the spot following remarks on the Chinese invasion in Kenya in the name of development projects one of the hot topics on KTN news discussion on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s loans.

After the greater plan of the Chinese to become residents in Kenya was revealed with the statement that our bureaucrats are too short-sighted, too corrupt and too foolish to understand that its a long game, agitated ambassador tweeted a harsh response.

Macharia tweeted that free speech in Kenya is the scream of cliche, ignorance and psychological dementia brought on by minds warped by thousands of western financed workshops and freebie “training programs.”

“We don’t need a million Chinese at our gates to ruin our country, not with our talking heads,” he stated.

Further on, he again clarified his sentiment after receiving great backlash over his statement.

However, he is nonapologetic saying that free speech is sacrosanct and that it was never his contention. His apparently is the manner of the uptake by some.

Although he has stated that he likes using Twitter because it avails feedback, he has cautioned that the views are personal encouraging the conversation to go on.

Un flattered Kenyans have stated that the ambassador is a disappointment.
