Gospel star Hopekid made headlines earlier this year for all the wrong reasons forcing him to disappear from social media for some time.
The singer and his colleague DK kwenye beat were accused of infecting a certain lady with an STI after a threesome.
Following the incident, both DK and Hopekid took a hiatus from social media.
Hope Kid now reveals that he thought he would seek refuge in the church only to be turned away.
“The gospel world is full of hypocrites! I was chased from church, a place that should have offered me support and comfort.” He said
The singer also called out fellow gospel artistes who turned their back on him when he needed them most adding that the secular world offered him more support.
“Gospel artists except Timeless Noel, stopped picking my calls. Funny enough, the secular world actually welcomed him with open arms. In fact, I got more support from secular artistes.” He added
