English Premier League has been the hotly contested League in all Europe this season.
The League has seen teams battling for the first position till the last match and with one of the highest points so far.
Manchester City are in the first position with 95 points while Liverpool is closely following with 94 points.
The Blues’ match with Leicester on Monday was perhaps a relief that Liverpool was waiting. The Reds were waiting to see Man City either draw or lose to increase their chances.
But that didn’t work to their advantage after Man City managed to edge their visitors at the last minute.
Brendan Rodgers’ boys managed to hold Man City until the 70th-minute when City’s captain Vincent Kompany dismayed the visitors by his ballistic missile.
The goal made the Blues fans to rise from 70 minutes of slumber and start taunting none other than Liverpool fans.
All eyes are now set on the last match for all the Premier League teams. Liverpool will be facing wolves at home while Manchester City will be facing Brighton away.
If Man City wins, they will lift the trophy even with Liverpool victory. But if they lose or draw, Liverpool will lift it if they win.
