‘Less Expectant’ Bandari ready to face Vihiga in a Kenya Premier League tie

Bandari travel to Vihiga United in their next outing on Wednesday before they host Chemelil Sugar at home next week Tuesday.

With just about six matches to the end of the season, coach Bernard Mwalala has now scaled down his expectations – aiming to take one game at a time and see how things pun out.

Mwalala has given up the Kenyan Premier League title chase admitting that it is now a long shot for his side.

He was speaking after battling to a barren draw against Posta Rangers on Sunday at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.

The draw left Bandari 11 points off leaders Gor Mahia who were also frustrated to a similar scoreline by Western Stima in Kisumu.

“It’s almost impossible to win the league now,” said Mwalala, who at the beginning of the season was riding high with the Doc

“We must look forward in the next games and keep the focus,” added the former Nzoia Sugar gaffer.
