Sonko Rescue Team Chairman Mathias Owino popularly known as Swaleh and his wife have been reported missing for days now.
Swaleh was allegedly picked up by plain clothes police officers in Gikomba and taken to the Eastleigh police station.
His wife reportedly went missing today after she allegedly received a message believed to be from Swaleh asking her to find him at a place in Kiambu.
Swaleh’s friend Sammy popularly known as Sammy Stepper says his friend last communicated with him on Tuesday at around 8 pm and told him that he was at the Eastleigh police station.
“He told me that he is at the Eastleigh police station last night, but the officers at the station this morning told us that he was not booked at the station,” says Sammy.
“His wife also left her house today at around 5 am telling us that she had received a message from him asking her to meet him in Kiambu, but right now she is also mteja, her phone is not ugoing threough,” said Sammy.
Sammy says police officers at the station have however denied reports that he was booked in at the station asking him to check elsewhere.
Early this year swaleh found himself in trouble with the police after video of him holding an AK 47 went viral.
