Dennis Itumbi has revealed that although many times he differs with activist Boniface Mwangi on various issues, during his recent demise he has said a prayer for the fella.
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) stormed the house of activist Boniface Mwangi and whisked him away.
According to Mwangi, he was taken to the Central Police Station although he wasn’t told the reason for his arrest.
The arrest of the former photojournalist-turned-activist many alluded could be related to the recent protest against corruption held at Uhuru Park dubbed #BeyondZeroCorruption.
Finally confirmed, Boni is facing charges of a ‘revolution likely to cause civil unrest’.
According to a written statement by the police at Central Police Station, where the controversial activist is being held, Mwangi is also facing charges of causing a breach of peace.
According to the statement, which has since been widely shared on social media, the activist has however declined to give the police any information regarding the said charges.
Itumbi has been pointed out as a youth representing the youth in the absence of the youth owing to the fellows an explanation after his prayer message.
