The race for the 2022 Presidential Elections is hitting up and Politicians are assembling all the relevant Arsenal to their camp to help them bag a victory come the appointed time.
One of the Arsenal’s politicians keep using is the Social Media with many of them preferring to use it to give out their opinions on different matters and interact with their supporters.
Some politicians have however found it rough in the social media streets as a number of rogue individuals have opened fake social media accounts using their names that they use to propagate hate, lies and propaganda.
One such politician is KANU Secretary General Nick Salat.
A Facebook associated with Salat has been publishing demeaning information about DP William Ruto.
Salat has now come out to disassociate himself with the account that he has called “Fake”.
According to Salat, he only has one facebook account but rarely posts anything on it.
He said that he prefers to give out his political opinions in the public rather than hide behind keyboards.
Salat he has always preferred voicing his political opinions publicly, rather than on social media.
While it is a known fact that Salat is a good friend to Gideon Moi and as such part of the Anti-Ruto brigade, he has said that he has nothing to do with the dubious account that keeps landing heavy tackles on DP William Ruto.
He has therefore called on Kenyan to ignore the account as it is out to stir up unnecessary debate.
Salat has said that those behind the account are out to discredit him and portray him and his Party KANU in bad light.
The Account with more than 5,000 Likes has been on Ruto’s neck with one hateful post after the other.
A Number of Kenyans have also noticed the suspicious activities of the account and have delinked Nick Salat from it.

“In 2022, Gideon Moi will run for the presidency… Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga will support him and our brother William Ruto will cry,” read one of the posts.
“We are very ready to set a full-blown war with William Ruto in Rift Valley region, we will battle him in all corners, East and West, North and South, on air, on land and in the sea…we have had enough of his leadership and it’s time to say enough is enough.”
