David Ndii tells off Raila, defends Aisha Jumwa

Economist and opposition strategists David Ndii has told off opposition chief Raila Odinga for the series of standoffs in the opposition.

Referring to the Malindi incident in which ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna was silenced by fiery Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, Ndii said in several tweets that Odinga was not acting like a role model to the lieutenants.

He defended Jumwa saying Sifuna got a fair share of what exactly he intended to serve Aisha Jumwa in his address during the funeral of Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi’s father.

“People here all over Jumwa for shutting down Edwin Sifuna who went dressing her down in her turf, and got what he had coming. Leaving the depressing display of patriarchy at its worst, the elephant in the room here is that Raila Odinga abandoned his troops but Sifuna and co. have no choice but to keep complimenting the emperor in his new clothes,” Ndii wrote on his official Twitter handle.

Ndii told off Raila saying he does not provide proper leadership saying: “Raila is not providing leadership – what we see is a follower clinging on a drunkard staggering from pillar to post, expecting the troops to follow blindly because he is Baba the Magician.”

He also slammed Odinga’s supporters for not facing him with facts about the party’s current state.
