After the Aisha Jumwa and ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna burial drama there was a huge debate over who was right with different sides being taken for various reasons.
There was drama at the funeral of Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi’s father on Friday after Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa cut short ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna’s speech.
Jumwa accused Sifuna of talking politics during the funeral and asked him to respect the Mijikenda.
Jumwa quickly walked up to him and grabbed the microphone saying she would not allow politicking at the funeral.
“We are not here for ODM politics but to condole with the bereaved. We shall not allow this; respect the Mijikenda.
A lady on social media branded Aisha Jumwa a village hero after the act.
Her comments shocked known economist David Ndii who found it hard to believe that she is advocating subservient women in this day and age.
“I stand with Aisha on this one. We all make mistakes. They handled it well,” Ndii stated.
To this a curious citizen questioned unconditional women supporter Ndii’s thoughts of Mama Ngina Kenyatta and Margaret.
David Ndii then boldly expressed that he thought they were thieves.
