Njambi Koikai honored at Safaricom Jazz

The Kenyan reggae queen, Njambi Koikai, is all joy after she was honored during the Safaricom Jazz event. Being a reggae fan, she would always attend the event while in Kenya.

A recorded video of her while still in hospital was shared during the event, She talked of how much she loved attending the event and misses being home to be with her fans.

Yesterday at Safaricom Jazz my family @nairobihorns did a small tribute reggae set and played this video. I honestly miss making music with the entire band. I miss you all. Too many memories we've shared in the past and i carry that in my heart. Thank you for standing with me in this journey. Thank you for praying with me. I shall finish STRONG. Thank you to the best horn section in Kenya @nairobihorns and thank you @safaricomplc_ There was a time the music was playing and i was like aiyayaya....si that's my cue to get in....big up yourselves. Njambi has been battling endometriosis for a long period of time. She has been in hospital where she has been in and out of surgeries. She has been appealing to Kenyans to help her finish her endo journey strong by helping her in meeting the hospital bills.
