Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand HAILED For Messi Free Kick Reaction Vs Liverpool

Lionel Messi scored two goals as Barcelona saw off Liverpool 3-0 at the Nou Camp.

The Argentine reached 600 club goals with an incredible free kick.

His effort from 30 yards out gave Reds goalkeeper Alisson no chance.

The 31-year-old sparked pandemonium in the Nou Camp and praise from pundits.

One of those hailing the forward was Ferdinand, who faced Messi in the 2009 and 2011 Champions League finals.

And footage has emerged of the former defender, who won five Premier Leagues and a European honour, reacting to the goal.

In the clip, the United legend is in the BT Sport studio with Gary Lineker and Luis Garcia.

Everyone is looking at Messi as he takes the free kick.

And the studio screams as the Argentine put the ball in the back of the net.

Ferdinand jumps out of his seat while hugging Lineker.

The United legend then jumps around while shouting.

He is stunned, holding a hand over his wide-open mouth.

This footage was shared on Ferdinand’s Instagram channel, where it has been viewed nearly a million times.

Accompanying the post, the 40-year-old said: “You have to get excited.”

But the United faithful loved his celebration because it was against their long-standing rivals.

“Rio is all of us,” one supporter said.

“No-one likes Liverpool.”

Another commented: “Go on, Rio. F*** Loserpool.”

While a third simply said: “Everyone hates Liverpool.”

This comes as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp had a brilliant reaction to Messi’s free kick.
