Sony Sugar sinks relegation-threatened Vihiga United further bottom

Sony Sugar had to work hard as they faced Vihiga United boys and worked late to secure a crucial win against the youthful side in a KPL match played on Labour Day.

Sony Sugar goals came in the 63rd 84th and the 86th minute to give them a very deserving win.

Relegation-threatened Vihiga United who is first-timers in the Kenyan top league was the first to hit on the Sony Sugar producers in the 18th minute through Patrick Okulo in a header.

The win leaves Sony with a point higher than Mathare United who is playing against flower planters Zoo Kericho at Kasarani.

Sony’s star Derrick Otanga found the net twice while Agwanda added the third one.

The match leaves the Vihiga side only a point ahead of second last positioned flower planters Zoo Kericho who are playing at Kaarani against Slum boy, Mathare.
