In a move aimed at settling personal political differences, COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli seized labour day celebrations to warn Malindi member of parliament Aisha Jumwa against mentioning her name in political platforms.
Atwoli urged Jumwa not to mention his name in political rallies and funerals as she is not of his type. Speaking today, the gallant Trade unionist has repeatedly attacked Aisha Jumwa accusing her of nagging behaviors.
In a fundraising occasion earlier today, the COTU boss termed Aisha Jumwa as a desperate dodo looking for attention from grownups. “Hata Aisha Jumwa apimwe na ruler, hana kiuno na si taste yangu” loosely translated to “Even if this woman is measured with a ruler, she is not my type at all”
Atwoli also launched scathing attacks on William Ruto and his Tanga Tanga Movement terming them enemies of progress who were out to frustrate Uhuru’s Second term in Power.
Atwoli attacked people who do not support President Uhuru Kenyatta and the war on corruption. Many people were, however, not happy with the union boss for turning a workers event into a political rally.
