Volunteers rescue passengers from accident wrecked car inside a valley

Imagine tripping and ending up falling at the authorities feet. This was the case when a Kiambu bound matatu, unfortunately, got involved in an accident near the Directorate of criminal investigations headquarter offices.

The Marafiki Sacco 14-seater matatu is said to have been overlapping when it lost control veering off the road and into a valley in Karura Forest.

The wreckage was pulled out of the valley by volunteers as they tried to rescue the passengers.

It is not yet clear if there are casualties involved.

The accident causing a huge traffic snarl up along the busy Kiambu Road.

Meanwhile, a woman’s torso has been found dumped along Landhies road Nairobi. The head, legs, and hands of the unidentified woman were missing.

According to officers who picked up the remains, they received word before going to the scene of incident.

Nairobi police boss Philip Ndolo said the victim could have been killed elsewhere and her torso dumped in the city.
