Former Kiambu governor William Ruto has reached for the deputy president William Ruto to back his 2022 presidential ambitions.
The former has now on a mission to bring on board all politicians to preach Unity and economic progress.
In an interview, Kabogo states that he is ready to reach out for all leaders across the Country to support his plot to empower youth.
” I’m in a mission to reach out to every leader, just mention the Dp Ruto, Musalia, Kalonzo and Uhuru and many others who we might have common thinking especially on youths empowerment,” he states.
The former further said that the issue of who will be the president by 2022 doesn’t matter for now, but how to equip Wanjiku is all that is needed.
Kabogo calls on the government to create avenues to empower the youths noting this will reduce the crime rate in the Country.
On Sunday, Kabogo and Ruto attended Akorino fellowship in Molo where he urged the Dp to seek the presidential votes and not wait to be endorsed.
” I told you three years ago not to wait for automatic endorsement, you have to look for your votes,” He said.
The deputy president has been facing a lot of opposition in mount Kenya region where a section of politicians accuses him of being corrupt.
Ruto is among the group of politicians who have declared their interest to succeed Uhuru.
Political analyst cum politician,Kamau Thugs,states that if the deputy president can accept to back the Kabogo mount Kenya region will support the bid.
Mr Thugs states that Kabogo is respected from the region and his influence can’t be ignored.
“Kabogo is a factor you can’t ignore, if Ruto van tone down his ego and support the Kabogo, there will be no objection from the vote-rich region.
Also former presidential candidate Peter Kenneth is rumored preparing to set the ground roll.
Mr Thuge states that the recent registered Transformational National Party Alliance(TNA) is associated with him.
Former Starehe Mp Maina Kamanda had earlier hinted that MT Kenya region isn’t ready to use Jubilee party 2022.
Kamanda accused the Dp of plot to rig politicians opposed to his bid using the Jubilee party.
