Wolves Master-plan to continue thrashing Man Utd, Arsenal

Wolves has gained a name the way it has thrashed big teams in recent campaigns. Manchester United and Arsenal have all tested the wrath of Wolves Hampton. But they have now a master-plan to continue subjecting big clubs in even bigger tribulations.

Brentford defender Yoann Barbet is being touted for a move to Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers when his contract expires, according to L’Equipe via HITC.

The Frenchman’s deal runs out in the summer and a number of sides are thought to have joined Wolves in the race for his services, including Norwich City and Leeds United.

Wolves have boasted a solid defence this term and have conceded just 43 Premier League goals, which is fewer than Arsenal and Manchester United.

Nuno Espirito Santo is renowned for rotating his side infrequently, but he may need reinforcements if Wolves are to negotiate another successful season in the top-flight.

Barbet has registered 32 appearances for Brentford this season, with the Griffin Park outfit securing a mid-table finish in the Championship.

The defender joined the Bees in 2015 and has been a consistent performer ever since. He also has a high degree of versatility and can play at both centre-back and left-back.
