Why Paul Pogba’s contract talks are halted as claims of him tearing the team emerge

Paul Pogba has been the centre of attention and attack at the same time for the same bad reasons, everyone is accusing him of not giving his all to the club.

Since he admitted and showed his desire to join Spain giants RealMadrid under the leadership of Zinedine Zidane, things have never been the same again.

Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane has been in the leading front to hit on the French star saying that he doesn’t give his all despite being a good player.

These elevating developments have seen his agent Mino Raiola last week cancel a meeting over a new contract, according to reports.

The recent results the club has recorded has left many questions than answers and football pundit and fans are very much clear on where they are pointing finger.

If the fingers are not pointed to Pogba, they are being directed t De Gea who still has contract issues with the club with details and revelations showing that both sides are yet to agree on the matter.

And Manchester United’s players are concerned that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t have enough in him to control Pogba.

The World Cup winner, controversially named in the PFA Team of the Season on Thursday, has been ‘tearing the Manchester United dressing room apart’, reports The Sun.

Insiders claim the French midfielder has told team-mates the club has gone backwards since he first left 2012 yet still insisting that he will not be playing at the club in the coming season.

Pogba isn’t sure Solskjaer is the manager to return them to former glories, they say and that is causing dressing room division after the team’s recent horror run.

Zinedine Zidane is hoping United are willing to cut their losses on him this summer as a move to Real Madrid looks more and more likely to take place.

It is now suggested that Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola cancelled a meeting last week to discuss a new deal at Old Trafford. Now it seems the exit door is ready to be opened for a second time.

One person who would like to see him go is Roy Keane if he comments after the 2-0 Manchester derby defeat to City are anything to go by.

“I wouldn’t believe a word he says there’s no meaning behind it,” former captain Keane said after Pogba’s pre-match interview talking about togetherness.

“He’s on about being a team-mate if you’re going to be a good team-mate you’ve got to run back when you’re defending.

“The guy is a talented boy, but we’re saying the same thing over and over again. The number of times we’ve seen him in games where he is not sprinting or running back.

“I don’t think he leads by example, from what I see. I don’t know what he’s like on the training ground or when they’re travelling, but from what I see. He mentioned body language and pride, but I don’t see it in his performances.

“He’s talking about body language but throws his hands up in the air.”He’s a big problem for United.”
