The ‘Pamela’ hitmaker, Ringtone Apoko, has been on Kenyans toes with his weird ways of attention seeking. He has been attacking his fellow artistes and criticizing their moves.

During an interview, he turned to Tanzanian bongo artiste, Diamond Platnumz with attacks over his music. Is Ringtone jealous about other artistes’ success?

Discussing the hot topic ‘banning of obscene songs’, he stated that Diamond’s songs should be the first on the ban list. Comparing them with Kenyan ‘Takataka’ song, he said that it didn’t deserve the ban before Diamond’s.

Ringtone feels that Diamond is dating a Kenyan girl, Tanasha Donna, so as to convince Kenyans that he is one of them. He said; “Vulgar Tanzanian songs should be banned in Kenya.

Diamond even got a girlfriend from Kenya in order to lie to Kenyans that he is one of them. Ezekiel Mutua should ban Diamond Platnumz songs first before banning ‘Taka Taka’ song.”

This comes after Diamond’s 13 local songs had been banned on grounds that they were against the country’s norms and values.

Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) announced the ban on after receiving a list of the songs from the National Arts Council of Tanzania (Basata).

A few months back, Ringtone described Rayvanny, Harmonize and Diamond as ‘Demon possessed artists’.

Ringtone clearly implies that the Wasafi artists that he listed are not Godly and also insists that they should continue being Willy Paul’s company because they are cut from the same cloth.

What are your thoughts on the attacks Ringtone has been making towrads Diamond?
