Music Dose! A look at this week’s spanking new hits

This is feel-good Friday and African artists have released a couple of hits that you might be interested in adding to your playlist.

These are some of the hot songs that dropped this week and it will sweep you off your feet.

  1. Diamond Platinumz – The One

The song dropped on Sunday 21st and is currently the biggest song in Africa. The One talks about a lady who is ‘everything’ to a man and she is the only one.

The song was produced By Lizer Classic, Video Shot By Director Kenny From Zoom Production, and areas featured are found in Morogoro, Bagamoyo and Tanga Magoroto (Tanzania).

The Song is from Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) record label.

2. Gabu, Arrow Bwoy, Daddy Andre- Koroga

The song was written by Kenya’s legendary artiste Gabu mgenge of Punit, fast-rising star Arrow Bwoy, and Uganda’spop artiste Daddy Andre.

Koroga is an urban pop with some Genge in it. The song is a mad tune and is already doing rounds in the media.

The song was shot in Tanzania.

3. Khaligraph Jones- Superman

The OG himself Khaligraph Jones released the most anticipated hip-hop tune in Kenya and yes, It is a banger.

Khaligraph is setting standards and he is now taking Kenyan music to an international level.

Superman was produced by Motif Don and directed by Dallas based Jeff Adair.

The song was shot in Dallas, USA.

4. Zzero Sufuri- Zimenishika

Zimenisha is a street anthem which went viral some few weeks ago but has now been produced with an official video.

The artiste, Zzero Sufuri, is a ghetto king based in Dagoretti and is now going for the Urban audience.

The song advocates for ‘ganja’ which is a ‘meditation’ medicine an was the perfect jam for celebrating 4:20

5. Chege Chigunda, Vanessa Mdee – Manjegeka

Chege is one of Tanzania’s legendary bongo star and he has teamed up with Bag girl Vanessa Mdee.

Vanessa Mdee was pleased to work with Chege who she looked up to in the music industry.

The song, Manjgeka, is a club banger and is doing rounds on Tanzanian, directed by Hanscania.

6. Rosa Ree, Timmy Tdat – Asante Baba RMX

Rosa Ree for the second time has teamed up with Kasabuni’s finest musician Timmy Tdat.

The two have been getting along together and has been rumored to be ‘secretly’ dating.

Their first collabo, Kipopo, was a success and they opted for the second one, Asante Baba.

7. Skales, Shaima – 911

Skales featured on beautiful Shaima’s tune dubbed 911 and isaa bomb!

The song is somehow a rendition of 911 by Harmonize and Yemi Alade but with bars in it.

8. Lady Jaydee- I don’t care

The Yahaya hitmaker has another hit which has received massive reactions from fans.

Her new song is called ‘I don’t care’ which has different pop music tune.

The bongo star has proved that she is versatile and keep up with the change in times and the audience.

9. Korede Bello – vendor

Korede has been a consistent artist who rose to fame after his debut single God Wins.

He has worked with other great artists like Tiwa Savage and is doing great music.

His new song is called Vendor under Marvin records.

10. Aslay – Nichombeze

Tanzanian star Aslay has showered his fans with yet another soothing banger.

Aslay who was among Tanzania’s group Yamoto Band has, time to time, proved that he is a hardworking artiste.

Having gone solo in his career after Yamoto Band breakup, it is with no reasonable doubt that he has outdone all his counterparts.

Kenyan baddest Victoria Kimani has another one few weeks after participating in controversial fvck you challenge.

Swalala is a mad tune for Africans.

12. Kasolo, Rose Muhando – Msinifatefate

The King of Kamba gospel music, Kasolo has feature Rose Muhando again.

Kasolo has been doing vernacular music but with the rise in his audience, he has adopted Kiswahili.

Mama Rose came from the hospital last week and is ready to rock and roll again.
