The immigration department of Kenya has on Thursday announced a two-hour passport service closure.
The 2-4 pm passport service shut down has been attributed to system upgrade with services set to resume at 4 pm.
“We wish to inform the General Public that our passport services will be closed between 2 – 4 pm for system upgrade. We will resume our services from 4 pm. We regret the inconveniences caused.” Said Immigration Kenya
However most Kenyans didn’t take this lightly as others questioned why the department decided to shut the services during the normal working hours and not in the evening. Here are some of the reactions:
