Manchester United host rivals Manchester City in a long waited Manchester Derby. As many have termed the derby to be the match that will decide which team will win the Premier League title between Manchester City and Liverpool, the Red Devils will be sure to win the game in order to avoid another terrible loss and keep top four finish hopes up.

This season Ole Gunnar’s side have managed to make an unwanted record. They conceded 48 goals in one season , most goals compared to the last five seasons.

United need a victory in our quest to secure a top-four finish, while City will go above Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table with a win.

The Reds are unbeaten in our last 14 Premier League games at Old Trafford, winning nine and drawing five.

The Reds have won 72 times, drawn 52 games and lost 52 others. We triumphed in a classic derby 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium last season, postponing the home side’s title celebrations despite trailing 2-0 at the break.

At Old Trafford, our form has not been good – despite a Juan Mata goal sealing a League Cup victory in October 2016. A 4-2 success in April 2015, with Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Mata and Chris Smalling on the scoresheet, was the last time we took three points from a home fixture.
