Kenya Film Classification Board has called on the righteous to dominate mountains of influence such as the government positions as well as the media.
Mutua’s call is intentional to have believers impact the lives of others and promote good values.
The KFCB boss noted that the battle is between God and satan, good and evil, darkness and light and urged those who worship the name of the Lord exclusively to raise their voices and declare that Jesus is Lord over all, in word and deed.
“And we must strategically and deliberately dominate the mountains of influence from Government to media, to entertainment and sports to the internet. These platforms were not created to be used by the devil.” He added.
Mutua has always been on the frontline to condemn the evils in the society and boldy take his stand which is mostly in line to the biblical teachings.
His concern is that when the devil rears his ugly head to destroy children using the media, the internet and new technologies, believers must be creative enough to offer alternative content and counter narratives.
He also encouraged the righteous to start companies based on Christian values, and invest in media while those who are placed in the market place declare that Jesus is Lord.
Mutua believes that the evil never wins and although he has been criticized for condemning what he believes is wrong,he remains consistent on how he handles issues.
His remarks came during a church service he had attended as part of the Easter celebrations.
