A horrifying video of woman giving birth and pleading for help is doing rounds on social media.
The video is said to have been filmed by a man who had taken her wife to the same hospital for treatment. The video taken at Shalom hospital, Athi river shows how cruel some nurses can get. When asked how the entire incident occurred the man said;
“So as I was seated waiting for my wife to be attended to, an older woman is rushed in on a wheel chair, there are three nurses on the table taking tea, they seem not to bother about the woman despite being notified it’s an emergency case, so the woman pleads with one of them ‘haki nisaidie’ one of the nurses told her to get up and walk,” he narrated.
The man continues to painfully explain what followed
“I helped her up with no aid from a nurse, we made about three four steps mama akashout mtoto anaanguka then boom! Mtoto akaanguka kwa floor!” he explained.
The man then took a video of the entire incident and shared it with his friends, Luckily the video got to the public who were quick to circulate it.
The mother and baby are however fine according to the hospital management. Watch the video below
