The death of moi eldest son has left the Country in shock as leaders from different political affiliation send their condolence message.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Kabogo sent their messages where they described Jonathan Toroitich as loving and hardworking Kenyan.
Uhuru said many will always remember JT for his pioneering exploits in motorsport as a rally driver and as a successful farmer, businessman and enterpreneur.
“Your Excellency, our collective thoughts and prayers as a family and as a country are with you, your family and friends during this difficult period of mourning,he said.
The death of Jonathan was confirmed by his brother and Baringo senator Gideon Moi.
“Jonathan will be remembered for his daring exploits in the racing tracks, in muddy and dusty tracks, during this time of Easter,’he said.
He described him as a family man and down to earth and industrious human being.
Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo also sent condolence message to the family members.
ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi also mourned Jonathan death.
