Popular actress Leah Nkatha Mati, popularly known as Nkirote in the program Real Househelps of Kawangware, opened up on her past.
Nkirote, who plays as a Crotus’ housekeeper in the program, explained how she struggled before finding her way to comedy platform.
Talking in an interview, Nkirote revealed how she hawked fruit salad from one bank to another in Meru town.
Since the fruit salad business was not doing well, the comedian revealed that she decided to go outside the country to find greener pastures.
She chose to go to Qatar to work as a house-help as that sounded a better option that hawking fruit salad in town. However, her plans did not go well as she landed in the hands of a dishonest person who planned for the journey to Qatar only for her to come back to Kenya after 2 days.
