Everyone Loves Kalonzo’s Easter Message

Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka is now calling for more efforts to be put in place to tackle hunger which has adversely affected more than 13 counties in the country.

In his Easter message, Kalonzo urged all government agencies as well as non-governmental organizations together with well-wishers to join hands and ensure that no Kenyan loses his or her life due to lack of food.

As the Christian faithful in the country gathered to celebrate Good Friday, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka joined other faithful in Mwea, Embu County in marking the day, where he urged Kenyans not to lose sight of the fact that most parts of the country are in serious grip of a severe famine as a result of prolonged drought.

The Former Vice president expressed the need to support the Building Bridges Committee which has been collating views in a view of crafting a roadmap towards a more united and inclusive Kenya.

Elsewhere, Narok North Member of Parliament Moitalel Ole Kenta has castigated sections of Jubilee politicians plotting to ruin Madaraka day celebrations through divisive politics.

Kenta noted with great concern that the political rivalry should be set aside for the sake of development adding that no one should undermine the presidency.

Four legislators from Mt. Kenya region have pledged to support the coffee bill aimed at improving farmers’ earnings from the crop.

The lawmakers noted that the bill was necessary to shield farmers from cartels who have been fleecing farmers of their sweat.
